Michael A. Sullivan has more than two decades of experience in complex civil and criminal litigation.  He has prosecuted political corruption cases with the Office of Independent Counsel, and has defended clients in tax and other white collar criminal prosecutions.  He also has served as law clerk to U.S. District Judge Marvin H. Shoob.

Mr. Sullivan holds the highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been recognized by his peers as a "Super Lawyer."

He is the co-author of www.whistleblowerlawyerblog.com. Mr. Sullivan has worked with the major whistleblower law, the False Claims Act, since the late 1980s and has both defended and prosecuted cases under the False Claims Act.  He also was one of the first attorneys to represent clients in the new IRS Whistleblower Program.

Mr. Sullivan is  also frequently requested to speak at legal seminars to discuss the federal and state False Claims Acts and the IRS Whistleblower Program.

At the request of legislators, Mr. Sulllivan helped draft the new state False Claims Act enacted in Georgia in 2007, and he testified in each legislative hearing to explain the False Claims Act to legislators.  He also has appeared with the Director of the new IRS Whistleblower Office in discussing and explaining the new IRS Whistleblower Program in September 2007 at the Taxpayers Against Fraud Annual Conference in Washington.
